Where Does a Brake Controller Plug Into on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
I have the factory tow package. I have partly removed the black kick panel and I believe I see the grey socket for the wiring connection to my P2. However the grey socket is put into a plastic box which prevents me from just slipping the connection in. Do I pry the grey socket out of the plastic box with a screwdriver or brute force? I dont want to wreck anything.

The connector is behind the black cover located to the left of the steering column, just above the carpet. I attached a couple pictures that should be helpful, but you shouldn't have to remove the socket from any box.
Be sure that you are trying to use the correct connector. Feel free to send pictures of what you described so that I can help you further if the pictures I attached don't help.
