How to Determine Trailer Suspension Hanger Spacing

I have the APS2 hanger kit and SP-124275 springs 26inch eye center to eye center what should the hanger hole center to hole center distance be?

You will want to mock-up your hanger spacing to ensure the suspension can move properly; you can clamp or tack-weld the hangers in place to test the set-up. But in general the two hangers' holes should be about a half inch closer together than the spacing of the springs two eyes. You can refer to the linked image and articles on trailer suspensions for additional information.
