BullDog Jack Tube Assembly Technical Dimensions And Replacement Parts

Question:

Hi, Im looking for a replacement Jack Tube Assembly for my 1995 Ranger Trail trailer. The Bull Dog Jack looks very similar See attache image from my Ranger Trail owners manual. I only need the Jack Tube Assembly Tube, Rack, and Wheel, without the Jack Housing Assembly. This jack looks pretty close to what I need as a replacement, but would like to get some technical information about the jack. 1. Can the tube assembly Item 22 in attached image be removed from the jack housing/crank assembly? 2. What is the diameter of the tube Outside Diameter? 3. What is the width of the gear rack located on the side of the tube? 4. What is the center to center distance of the gear teeth on the gear rack? 5. Is this tube/gear rack information the same on both the Bulldog 750 lb rated jack and the Bulldog 1200 lb rated jack? Thanks again for your help.

I reached out to my contact over at Bulldog and when looking this they confirmed that the old Ranger trailers actually used a TJ650 style jack which they don’t make anymore. In that case we recommend replacing it with a new style jack next to the existing one such as the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack # FTJ12000101 or the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack with Dual Wheels - Sidewind - Black - 12" Lift - 1,500 lbs # F27CR.
