Best Way to Carry Two Electric Bikes on a 2000 Chinook Motorhome
Question:
I put a picture of the rear of my 2000 Chinook Concourse 21 ft RV. There is a hitch in rear and I wonder if this rack will work with the rear door. I have 2 E bikes. I am also debating putting a hitch in the front and mounting the rack there. Will that work? The front of the rv is a Ford F350. Thanks

The best way to carry your two electric bikes would be on the front of your 2000 Chinook Motorhome. The rear steps would not allow for the use of most bike racks, especially one that is rated for use on a motorhome and has the capacity to hold two electric bikes.
In order to carry two electric bikes on the the front of your Chinook you are going to need both a front mounted trailer hitch and a bike rack. Since your Chinook in on a Ford E-350 chassis you can use the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65001 which is a confirmed fit and will work well for you. For installation, you can reference the video I have attached for you.
Then for a bike rack, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec part # S94FR which is actually designed specifically for electric bikes. It can hold two bikes weighing up to 70 lbs each. I have attached a review video on this rack for you as well.
