Item # 277-000164. I'm converting a bus into an RV. What else do I need for this to work. Do I only need to hook it to a 12 volt power source or do I need something else?

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank Heater Pad, Item # 277-000164, will need to be connected to a 12 volt power source. You should be good to go and you just need to follow the installation instructions for safety and security.

Since the inverter would output 12 volts it would be the same running the Therma heat RV tank pad heater part #277-000164 to that as it would be a 12 volt battery.

There's nothing stopping you from using a Holding Tank Heater Pad such as #277-000164 on black or gray water tanks. However with the black water tank adding a heat source could create excess gases which could be a potential problem.
