Can Thermaheat Tank Heater Pad Be Insulated Over
Question:
Id like to help conserve my battery life in freezing weather by not needing to keep these heaters on all the time. Can I insulate the pipes and tanks after installing these pads? The insulation would obviously go over the pads. There are a few options available for insulation, foam, neoprene, and fiberglass wraps. Thank you.

We've had this question before and the manufacturer of the ThermaHeat # 277-000164 that you referenced has stated that it's okay to insulate over the heating pad.
