For a 2 bike rack, I recommend Swagman Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # S63360. This rack features foldable arms so you can get the rack down and out of the way when not in use. It also tilts forward for easy rear-cargo access. The weight capacity is 70 lbs (35 lbs per bike)
If you are looking to carry up to 4 bikes, I recommend Swagman S64400 Original 4-bike rack which is a basic rack with our highest weight capacity.
If you don't have a trailer hitch # C13386 fits both the 2017 and 2018 Ford Explorer. With this product, there is no drilling required for installation. The exhaust must be temporarily lowered for installation. The hands-free liftgate sensor areas may be limited to areas away from the center where hitch receiver opening is located.
