If you have a 2016 Nissan Titan XD then you do have the factory plug under your dash whether it came with the factory tow package or not.
To install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 you would simply need the Plug-In Adapter # 3050-P.
For a Titan XD that didn't come with the tow package, you also need the Hopkins # N40975 which comes with the rear connector for the trailer as well as the needed relays to activate the tow package.
