Replacement Trailer Hitch for 2006 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a 2006 Tundra with 8cyl, 4WD, 8 ft bed and factory tow package Class IV. I’ve had the frame replaced last year. I need to replace the hitch due to excessive rust. What can I use with minimal hole drilling? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch that fits to the frame of your 2006 Toyota Tundra with the least amount of drilling is part # C13180. This only has 6 mounting bolt holes. The Curt hitch is a confirmed fit if you do not have the factory towable bumper.
If you have the factory towable bumper then you want part # 13184 instead
I have linked some instructions for each trailer hitch that you can look at as well. Please note that these are custom fit so they are compatible with the OEM frame of your Tundra.
