The base plate kit that I recommend for your 2013 Ford C-Max is the Blue Ox # BX2639. This will work perfectly with the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar # BX7380 that is rated for 6,500 lbs and comes with coiled safety cables with the same weight rating.
For wiring I recommend the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which installs on your C-Max and then easily connects to your motorhome with the included coiled wire. Since you need to keep your key in the accessory position (according to page 249 of the owner's manual) I also recommend installing the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to keep your battery from losing the charge while you are flat towing.
Most states now require a supplemental braking system. If you don't already have one then I recommend going with the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. Once you have it installed you barely even know it's there. To get it ready for towing you simply make a few connections and then flip a switch!
To keep your tow bar level a high-low adapter is typically used. I have linked our selection of adapters as well as a helpful article for you to check out.
Some videos have also been linked to assist you in the installation process, but I also recommend checking out your owner's manual for specifics when it comes to getting your vehicle ready for flat towing.
