Recommendation For Hitch Extender To Carry Thule Apex Bike Rack With 2018 Jeep Rubicon JL

Have 2018 Jeep Rubicon JL. Can you tell me which hitch extension length I will need to use my Thule Apex 4 bicycle rack. Please recommend for purchase. Thanks.

Before I can recommend a hitch extension, I need to find out the actual extension needed.
You will need to measure from the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of your spare tire to see how much length is needed for clearance of your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited. You will then need to determine the clearance needed by your bike rack by measuring the distance from center of hitch pin hole to the closest part of the bike rack. The difference is the extension size that you need (see article).
For example, if you need 8 inches then the Curt Hitch Extender, Item # C45791, is the extender you need.
When using an extender, keep in mind that your overall tongue and weight capacity will be reduced by 50 percent.
