Does the Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire # AM10010 Have a Natural Tire Shape

Question:

Hello, thinking about picking up three of these for my Tuktuk, a 3 wheel little vehicle from India. It is currently using 4 x 8 trailer tires and I would like to swap to something a little taller. When I saw the video review the tire looked A-symetrical. The sidewall looked distended to one side. That isnt visible in the product pictures so I was wondering what it would be like inflated. Is this tires off set slightly for trailer use, or was that just being out of shape due to not being mounted.

You are correct that the shape of the Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire # AM10010 isn't reflected 100% accurately in the video (attached) due to it not being mounted and properly inflated.

Tires themselves cannot have an offset because it would change the entire way that the tire is constructed. The only time you will see an offset is with the wheel it is mounted on. If you check out the video for the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30100 you can see that when the tire is properly mounted and inflated that it retains a normal tire shape.

Please note that this tire has a 5.8" section width and an overall 18.1" outer diameter when it is inflated. You need to check the fender clearance on your vehicle to ensure that it will fit properly for your application.
