Brake Controller Recommendation for 2011 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I have a 2011 Nissan Frontier Wanting to purchase a 2004 Thor pak rat 22 tb toy hauler It’s weight is 3580 Our Kawasaki Teryx side by side weight of 1605 Just wondering if the weight will work with my Nissan My book for my truck say 5500 to 6100 Thank you for your time

The total weight of the trailer and SxS that you mentioned is less than the total trailer capacity for your Nissan so you'd be fine based on that. You would want a brake controller to allow you to activate the brakes of the trailer so that you can stop safely.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well. To install this all you need is the correct install harness part # 3050-P.
