Cable Style Tire Chains for 225/65-17 Tires on a 2017 Subaru Outback
Question:
Hi, Just watched the video.. I have a 2017 Subaru Outback newly purchased in August 2017. My tire size is 225-65-R17 will the PW1046 cables fit these tires? Im headed into snowy area, although not sure how much snow. At what point do you need to use cables instead of the AWD?

Your 225/65-17 tires on your 2017 Subaru Outback will require a different size set of cables. You would need # PW1042. I have linked a video review for you.
I also recommend rubber adjusters # PW105 to keep the cables tight and in place.
You will need to use the chains if there are road signs indicating they are required. Other than that if you sense any slipping at all or feel unsure then it would be a good idea to put them on.
