Recommended B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 Short Bed
Question:
I am wanting to put an under the bed goooseneck hitch on my 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 ext cab short bed. When I look it up on your site it only shows the Draw-Tite but does not show the B W version for my truck as other sites do. Is there a reason that I am not getting? I only ask because the guy that is going to install it said to get a B W. Thanks

Your 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed was a year of transition in body style and strength, so I confirmed with the manufacturer you will want the # BWGNRK1059 if you have the tube frame changing to C-channel before the axle or the # BWGNRK1050 if you have the full C-channel frame. A quick look underneath will give you a clear understanding of what frame style you have and which of these two options will fit your truck.
I also recommend you add the wiring harness # PK11893-11932 to give you an easy connection for your gooseneck wiring. This will give you a second working 7-way in a convenient location for a clean look.
