Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 Recommendation for 5/8 inch Wheel Stem Hole

Question:

I have Sumec 15 inch with 6 on 5-1/2 lugs aluminum wheels on my Grand Design trailer. I am fixing to install some new Goodyear Endurance tires on wheels along with the Eeez ride TPMS sensors on the end of the valve stems. My question is concerning the valve stems. I know they recommend metal stems over rubber for the sensors. I was looking at the Americana AM20906 stems, but I do not believe they will fit in the wheel. 1. How wide is the washer under the nut? The recessed hole in the wheel where valve stem comes thru looks like it is about 5/8inch wide. I am guessing my opening is .453. 2. If the 20906 is too large will the 20904 work? My tire pressure is 80 PSI cold inflation.

For trailer wheels the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 that you referenced basically fits all wheels. It fits the two most popular hole sizes for valve stems of .453 and .625 inch by swapping out the rubber grommets. Since your hole measure 5/8 inch this will work guaranteed.

This can also handle up to 80 psi as well.
