Will Curt Trailer Hitch C13381 Fit 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan AWD?

Hi, Im checking on the fit of a trailer hitch for a 2018 VW Tiguan AWD. Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # C13381 Will this hitch fit? Its noted for this vehicle, but no note about if the AWD requires a different one. Thanks!

I checked with Curt and hitch # C13381 will fit a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan models S, SE, SEL and SEL Premium. So if your Tiguan is one of those models then this hitch is going to fit; the only thing to note is that you may be limited to using the hands-free liftgate sensor on either side of the hitch receiver.
To add a 4-way that will power up your trailer's lights the correct harness for your VW is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. If you are going to be towing, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise.
