Yakima Track Roof Rack Recommendation for Truck Bed Camper Shell
Question:
I want to install a roof rack on a fiberglass truck shell. I have the old style gen 2 Yakima Q tower set up and am wondering if you sell the necessary mounts for this system. Its a flat fiberglass mount and I want to install it on the top, not the sides.

We do offer the Yakima Control Towers # Y8890027 (you need 4) and Landing Pad 1 # Y00221 (you need 2) that will allow you to install Yakima round crossbars on a truck camper shell, but not using the older Q tower setup. For a 54 inch long track for the rack to install in you'll need the part # Y01127.
Yakima round bars are available in many lengths. You may already have a set that will work too.
