Front Hitch for 2003 Ford Excursion With Blocker Beam

I have a 2003 Ford Excursion Limited it has a factory blocker beam installed on it which is rusting away would your hitch be a direct fit 4 the replacement of the blocker beam it looks like youre hitch has a different bolt pattern the blocker beam has three bolts on each side and bolts upward the hitch bolts look different can you help me

The instructions for both of the front-mounted hitches that are a fit for your 2003 Ford Excursion, the Draw-Tite # 65022 and Curt # 31114 reference the blocker beam, saying you'll need to remove and then reinstall it when putting on either hitch. This means, of course, that these hitches are not direct replacements for the blocker beam but either could still be installed.

That was a confusing way to phrase that and I apologize. The Blue Ox Hitch Extender for Tow Bars #BX88265 was designed for use with tow bars so the 10,000 lb towing capacity is in reference to how heavy of a vehicle it could flat tow.

This is correct. If you have the Blocker Beam on your 2006 Ford F-350 you will need to use the Draw Tite hitch #65022 or if not you'd need the #31114. The blocker beam is a small sub-bumper behind air dam.
