B and W Patriot Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation to Fit Above Bed Rails in New Truck
Question:
Traded trucks, kept my companion. Will the head of my companion fit the base of a patriot? new to me truck has rails, not the underbed hitch. Thanks

Companion and Patriot fifth wheel hitches use different heads so they are not interchangeable. Since you have above bed rails you'd have to go with the Patriot hitch part # BWRVK3200.
The good news is that you can now sell your Companion hitch as a complete hitch which would be easier than just the base of the hitch.
