Fitting the Yakima SkyBox 21 To a 2013 Honda CR-V With Factory Roof Rack

I have a 2013 Honda CRV with the factory roof rack and wanted to know if this Yakima SkyBox 21 cargo box will fit my vehicle and also what would be the largest cargo box I could purchase? Thanks!

You'll want to measure your available front clearance to help determine if you can fit a box to your vehicle without impacting the rear hatch's performance. At this point, most boxes are compatible with most crossbars, so the clearance is far more important.
To get this measurement, you'll adjust your crossbars as far forward as they'll go, then measure from the center of the front crossbar to the line where your roof meets your rear hatch. This distance is your clearance, and any box you look at needs to have a required clearance of less than this number to be a fit.
The SkyBox 21, part # Y07337 requires 57 inches of clearance, which is the most distance of any Yakima box. Most XXL sized boxes like the SkyBox 21 will require around 55 to 57 inches of clearance.
