Cargo Box Availability For Keeping Contents of Box Dry

Hello, Looking for a car top carrier that is waterproof. Is there one ?or do we have to cover it with a bag? Thankyou for your time

In order for something to be considered waterproof it needs to be able to be submerged in water and keep the contents dry. Since that's not a typical scenario for roof cargo boxes none of them are made to be waterproof.

They are made to keep the contents dry while travelling in normal type rain, but we still recommend putting the contents of the box in a plastic bag if it is super important they stay dry just to be cautious. You would not need to wrap the box in a plastic bag.

The Skybox 21 # Y07337 would be a great option as it is one of the nicest boxes around with a great seal to keep out moisture.
