Will Roadmaster Diode Kit Work With 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee With Combined Lighting?

Question:

Going to tow a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Im about to buy the Air Force One SM99243 kit as Ive used this on our 11 CR-V. Want to leave CR-V fully equipped. My question has to do with wiring the brake/turn lights. Im looking at RM-15267 Roadmaster kit for this as I want to use lights on JGC. My coach 15 Thor Palazzo has separate turn/brake lights, but I think the Summit has combined turn/brake lights. I checked and the outside lights are used for both turn and brake. The inner red lights are for running lights. Will the RM-15267 have enough diodes to make this work without screwing up Jeep electronics? Also, is there a way to avoid having the AF1 brake override the turn signal when turn signal comes from coach?

You were correct that your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a combined wiring system though you will still be able to use the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 without hurting your Jeep's electronics. If you take a look at the chart I've attached you can see that there are enough diodes provided to work without messing up your Jeep's electronics.

As far as keeping the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243 from overriding the turn signals, you would need to install Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400. Also keep in mind that you will need to use the Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751449 with a supplemental braking system on your Jeep.

I've added links to video reviews of these products for you to take a look at.
