Hitch Height Range of Reese Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch RP30051

1 Your site says : Note: If using a slider, hitch will not adjust to lowest height setting. It also list the hitch height as Hitch height: 15inch - 18. Your response is That includes the reduction in height settings because of the slider. Is the 15inch not a contradiction? 2 I fully understand towing a trailer with the hitch slid back will effect would unweight the front axle. My question, is the hitch design strong enough to be used towing a trailer with the hitch slid back?

The hitch height range of the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30051 is 15 inch to 18 inch (actually 15-1/2 to 18 inch, see below). That includes the reduction in height settings because of the slider.
You can not tow your trailer with the hitch slid back though. This would unweight the front axle which would make handling and braking dangerous.
