Does the sensor need to be relocated so that it can still be used? I have a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium....

For your 2014 Ford Escape Titanium, you do not need to relocate the sensors but the working areas will be limited to either side of the trailer hitch receiver opening. For the least amount of interference, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75782.
