How to Level Out a 5th Wheel Towing Setup
Question:
We have a 2013 Chevrolet 2500 HD truck with a 2006 Fifth wheel KZ Sportsmen 25 foot Toy Hauler. We are using a BandW slider hitch. If we adjust the pin box it will hit the rails of our truck. Not really sure how to get the trailer to tow level and still clear our truck bed.

What you can try doing, if you haven't already, is adjusting your pin box to the highest bolt and then adjusting the head height on your B&W hitch the same amount. This will lower the nose of your trailer some but still maintain the trailer being level.
Aside from that, there are a few modifications that you can do to your trailer to help with the height. You can use an over-under kit like the Dexter # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8" diameter axle, or Dexter # K71-385-00 for a 3" diameter axle. This will increase the height of your trailer equal to the size of your axle plus the height of your spring stack.
Another thing that you can do is change out your leaf spring hangers for taller ones. I have attached a link to our selection of hangers for you to filter through.
