Recommendation for Adding Temporary Brake Lights to Airstream Trailer
Question:
Hello, Im looking to get temp brake lights for a 31foot Airstream.Just to mount for transport briefly (probably magnetic). Im guessing I will need minimum 35foot in length and that will probably be cutting it close. It would be for a 4 prong flat hookup. Can you recommend the best products to purchase to accomplish this? Thank you,

For temporary brake lights that can mount to your Airstream trailer, I recommend looking at the Optronics Magnetic Tow Lights # TLL21RK. These are magnetic red lights that will act as running lights, brake lights and turn signals. The magnetic bases will hold them firmly to any metal surface.
This kit includes a 20 foot wiring harness with a 4-Way flat plug. To extend the wiring, I recommend cutting and splicing in the appropriate length for your trailer with Bonded 4 Wire # 16-4B-1. This wire is sold by the foot so you can purchase exactly the length you are needing. I recommend using butt connectors like # 05731-5 to make the splices and wrapping the connections in electrical tape to further protect them.
I have attached a demonstration video on this product that you can also take a look at.
