Is Back Of 7-Way in Brake Controller Install Kit ETBC7 Weatherproof

Im thinking about buying the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires___Item # ETBC7 - for my 2001 4Runner. My question is concerning the back of the plug facing the front of the vehicle. Is there a rubber boot or something similar available to weather proof the wired end of the plug? I like the 4pin/7pin setup but I was looking for something a bit more weather resistant.

I understand your concern about the back of the 7-way connector of the part # ETBC7 but we have sold an incredible amount of these and in my 7 years here I have yet to hear of anyone with an issue related to the back of the 7-way connector.

So I agree that it does look vulnerable to the weather, but if it was an issue it would have came up by now.
