Width At Mount for Rocky Mounts Brass Knuckles to Fit 2 Bike Carriers and Snowboard Carrier

Im trying to find a roof mounted bike rack that is narrow enough to allow 2 mounts and my snowboard mount to stay on year round. What is the width where the mount meets the rail, and can the locking arm be installed on either side? Thank you

I went out to our warehouse and measured the RockyMounts BrassKnuckles Roof Mounted Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Black # RKY1201 for you. At the front rail attachment, the width is 6-1/2 inches and is the widest part of the rack other than the width of the arm which is 11 inches. This arm can be mounted on either side of the rack, so it will work well for your application.

Two of these bike carriers will take up 13 inches of total crossbar space, so depending on your snowboard mount, you should be able to fit all three components if you put the wheel hook to the outside on either side of the snowboard carrier.
