Fit of a Thule XT Roof Cargo Box on a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek with Factory Roof Crossbars
Question:
HI, just wondering if the Thule Force XL code: TH625 will mount on factory cross bars on a 2015 Subaru xv Crosstrek. Thanks.

Thule confirmed that the Thule Force XT, part # TH6358B, will fit your factory crossbars, however I do recommend taking one more measurement to be sure that you'll be happy with the fit.
Since the box may impact the operation of your rear hatch, I recommend measuring from the middle of the front crossbar when it is adjusted (if possible) as far forward as it will to go the line where your roof meets your hatch. This will give you an idea of how much room you need for your cargo box so you can still use your hatch.
For the Thule Force XT, the minimum clearance is 51-1/8 inches. You will need at least this distance to not impact your hatch's operation.
If your vehicle isn't long enough for the box, Thule makes a smaller Force XT model as part # TH6357B that only requires 47-1/2 inches of clearance.
