Opening Rear Hatch and Antenna Clearance with Thule Motion XT # TH629807 on 2019 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

Will this XL sized box, installed on the factory crossbars, still allow for the rear hatch to open AND will it not touch/impact the roof antenna? Need to know for certain before purchasing.

As far as the fitment of the Thule Motion XT XL # TH629807 onto your factory crossbars of your 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, you need to make sure that your crossbars do not exceed 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall. In order to make sure that your bars fit within these parameters, I recommend making a measurement of the width and height of your bars.

I did confirm that you have enough space on your roof to fully open the trunk with the # TH629807 installed.

For antenna interference, Thule does not take into account antenna interference. Although, the # TH629807 is designed with an angled rear end to help accommodate most antennas. Since the box will be elevated directly on top of your crossbars on your Crosstrek, as long as your antenna is not taller than the top surface of your crossbars, there will be no interference.
