6k Leaf Spring for a Forest River Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a forest river work and play and when I load my trailer with a rzr it squats a lot. I was going to replace the springs. They should be 5200 or 6000lb axles. Theyre 6 lug 3inch dia. the current springs are 4-leaf. Was looking at either the SP-111275 or the e64SR springs. I know the length is a touch different but how do I know which length I really need? It has a connector between the two springs for each axle. Sitting on the ground, it measures 26.25inch Thanks for any help you can offer.

Are you sure you aren't exceeding the capacity of your trailer? Going with higher rated springs will give you additional spring capacity but will not increase the overall capacity of your trailer.

The only way going with new leaf springs like part # e64SR will fix the sag is if your current 6k springs are worn out.

These measure 24-7/8 inches. You would need to unweight your current axle and measure the length. If your current springs are around 25-1/4 inches long these would work well.
