Will the Kuat NV 2.0 add on fit the Kuat Base?

The Kuat Base NV 2.0, part # BA22B actually has its own add on kit as part # BA02B. According to Kuat, the parts are not compatible between the NV 2.0 and the Base NV 2.0.
