Wiring the Traditional Trailer 7-Way to 7-Way RV Standard

Question:

Hi, I was wondering if the Mighty Cord 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector follows the standard wiring unlike the Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector that I have been reading about? Meaning blue will line up with blue wire, brown with the brown wire ect?

The Mighty Cord 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector, # A10-7W8, will have the same wiring configuration as the Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector, # H20046.

I recommend the 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug with Junction Box , # HS381-9000. The junction box will allow to easily connect your trailer wiring to the new 7-way cord. Using 7 of the Ring Terminal - 12-10 Gauge Wire, # 44-5310A, you can connect your trailer wiring to the junction box. The box can attach to the trailer and house all of your trailer wiring.

I have attached a info box that tells you which wire on the trailer will connect to the junction box's terminals.
