Recommended Wheel/Tire Combo and Fenders for Aluminum Boat Trailer

Question:

My trailer for my aluminum boat currently has 8inch wheels and I really want to upgrade to bigger wheels and to do that I think I need new fenders as well. I need help figuring out what will work for me. Thanks!

For your wheel size upgrade, I recommend the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM3H400 or the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM3H380 depending on your hub bolt pattern. I've attached an article to assist in determining that and I recommend the galvanized wheel because it is a boat trailer and these wheels will hold up to the water or salt water without corrosion.

For your fenders if you need to replace them based on tire size, I recommend the Single Axle Trailer Fender w Top Step - Style B - Black Plastic - 8" to 12" Wheels - Qty 1 # F008559. We also have aluminum fenders # HP49VR if you prefer. I've attached a link to all your options. You can use the Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fender - 8"/12" Wheels - Galvanized Steel - Qty 2 # CE26061G-2 to mount them.
