Adapter to go from 7-Way Round Pin on 1993 Ford F-350 to a 7-Way Blade Style Connector on a Trailer
Question:
I have a 1993 Ford F350 Crew Cab with a 7 pin trailer connection at the bumper. The top pin is slightly larger in diameter and slightly longer see picture. I need to convert it to a 7 blade style connection for a utility trailer with electric brakes. I have another connector in the bed of my truck that is used for my 5th wheel. It is already a 7 blade and is hooked up to a brake controller in the cab. I am assuming they are both wired in together somehow. I have attached pictures of that as well. I am assuming the wiring diagrams on the covers of both are correct see pictures. The question is, do you have an adapter that will convert the 7 round to a 7 blade so it will work with a utility trailer and the electric brake controller?

There is an adapter to go from the 7-Way round pin connector on your 1993 Ford F-350 to a 7-Way blade style connector for the trailer. It is Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47425. Assuming that your 7-Way round pin and the 7-Way in your truck bed are both wired to each other (which is very likely) all the functions, including the brake output circuit, will function when using this adapter.
