This Cushioned Ball Mount, part # AMSC4, has a ball mount hole that measures 1 inch in diameter.
If you are looking for a ball with a 1 inch shank that also has a 10,000 lb capacity I would recommend the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set, part # 901B.
What is also nice about this ball set is that it comes with an interchangeable ball that can be swapped from 2 inch to 1-7/8 inch quickly and easily and should work very well for you.
I attached FAQ articles on ball mounts and hitch balls below for you to check out also.

Hi can this hitch be used with the Malone Anti-Rattle HitchLock System? Also could this hitch be combined with the Curt Rockerball to give even more cushion or would those two products not work well combined? Thanks!
