Pairing Problems with Hand Held Unit on Tekonsha Prodigy RF Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
Just received the TK94FR yesterday. Went to pick up a new Bri-mar dump trailer today. Mounted power module. Plugged module then remote per instruction. Remote stays flashing n.c. Tried plugging trailer 7 way into power module, all trailer lights began flashing, remote still showing n.c. Had to leave the trailer at the dealer and drive back home. Help?

It sounds like there is a pairing problem between the remote and the unit itself that mounts to the trailer. You will also just want to double check and make sure that your vehicle 7-Way and the trailer 7-Way are wired the same as the Tekonsha Prodigy RF, # TK94FR.
The pairing instructions included with the manual which I have linked for reference, must be followed exactly in order for the unit to function properly. The N.C. flashing can be because the hand held unit is not paired properly, the power module is not powered (this could be the case if the 12 volt function on the vehicle 7-Way is not functioning), trailer is not connected to power module, or the manual override is engaged without the trailer connected.
