In order to determine the wiring functions of the factory wiring on your 2006 Nissan Frontier, you will need to test them with a circuit tester like # PTW2993. Someone will need to sit in the truck and turn on and off the lights, blinkers, and so on while you test the wires. Once you have determined the color/function of each wire, you can wire in the new 7-Way as follows.

If looking at the BACK of the 7-Way where the wires attach:

1 o'clock position = running lights
3 o'clock position = left turn and brake
5 o'clock position = ground
7 o'clock position = brake controller output
9 o'clock position = right turn and brake
11 o'clock position = 12-volt power
Center = reverse lights

I have included a link to our wiring FAQ that should also help.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118362, that you have referenced is designed to fit a 1998 to 2003 Frontier so it will not work on your 2006.
