Does Trailer Need to be Hooked up for Green Light to Light up on the Tekonsha Voyager
Question:
I have checked the power to the controller and power is getting to controller and also getting to trailer plug but am not getting a green light on controller. Do i need to have caravan plugged in for light to come on or should i have some indication that the controller is working ie Green light

Yes you will need your trailer hooked connected to your tow vehicle for the Green Light on the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 to come on as that tells it that there is a trailer connected. If you skip to the 2:40 mark in the attached video you will see our video team member demonstrate this.
If you connect the trailer and you are still not getting a Green Light then you will want to check for corrosion on your trailer plug contact or a loose power or ground connection.
