How To Install The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness On A 2005 Pontiac Vibe
Question:
Im installing the wiring harness 118458 into my 2005 Pontiac vibe. The video link is very helpful. However the brake/tail light plug on the passenger side has three prongs instead of the two prong connector that comes with the assembly green wire intended for the passenger side. What gives?

Expert Reply:
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118458 does not replace any of the connectors on the vehicle rather T's into them. There are two connectors that you will be connecting to on the back of the taillight housing. One is a 3 prong and one is a 2 prong. You will need to be sure you are attaching the correct pigtail from the harness to the connector on the tail light. For example, 3 prong from vehicle to 3 prong from wiring harness etc.
We have a video of this kit installed on a 2005 Pontiac Vibe which I have attached for you.
