Parts Needed to Charge Battery of 5th Wheel Trailer While Towing Through 7-Way
Question:
I am looking for a product that will charge the battery in my 5th Wheel while I am towing. The charge would come from the tow vehicle via the 7-way connector between the 5th Wheel and the vehicle. What products are available for this application?

If you have a 7-way trailer connector the pin in the 1:00 position carries the 12 volt accessory circuit which is what normally charges a trailer battery. It would need to be ran to the positive post of your battery though. You should note that this will only really provide you with a maintenance charge for the battery and won't keep a large battery charged if depleted.
I attached a diagram that shows how 7-ways normally run to brake controllers and batteries.
If you need a charger for charging a dead battery you instead would need the part # CTEK56353 which would attach to a wall outlet.
