Troubleshooting 5th Wheel Wire In Junction Box That Isnt Connected And Error Message
Question:
I have a 2014 open range 5th wheel and I replaced the brake quick release due to a electrical short. Their is a wire in the junction box at the front of the trailer that is green with a white stripe. I do not know where it goes. My turn signal lights and brake lights work but inside the truck it says trailer faulty wiring. Please help

On your 2014 Open Range 5th wheel trailer, the color of wire unfortunately doesn't help. You will need to test the wire for function. Because you have the lighting functions, you may have a ground or reverse function. You may also have a brake that is not fully functional. I recommend tracing that wire and using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to determine the function.
I recommend connecting that single wire to a battery to see if you can quickly determine function.
