Converting Titan Model 6 Drum Brake Actuator for New Disc Brakes

Question:

Hello, I changed out my drum brakes to Kodiak Kit - 10 Hub/rotor -5 on 4-1/2- Dacandstainless -3.5k . I have a Surge-O-Matic Model 6 8000lb. brake actuator that now has a bad master cylinder. My question is should I replace the master cylinder with the same one or is there another master cylinder more suited to handle the new disk brakes?

When replacing the master cylinder on your existing Titan Model 6 Actuator, you will want to use a master cylinder for disc brakes like # T1777405. The master cylinder that is currently on your actuator is designed for the lower pressure drum brakes, so changing to one for disc brakes is highly recommended.

This master cylinder assembly is designed for Titan Model 6 brake actuators and will include the master cylinder, mounting plate, hex bolt, push rod assembly and installation hardware.
