Is Swagman XTC2 Designed to be Easily Installed and Removed or Left Installed in Hitch

we do not plan on keeping the bike rack on the full season. how easy as it to take off and on. what is its weight.

The Swagman XTC2 part # S64670 is designed to be easily installed and removed. It was designed with what you are looking to do in mind. This bike rack and others similar are not designed to be left on hitches or extended periods of time. They are designed to be installed when needed and removed when not.
If you check out the review video I attached you can see how easily the rack is installed and removed.
You will need to use a wrench or socket/ratchet to tighten and loosen the hitch pin bolt but it's really pretty easy.
The total weight of the rack is 33 lbs.
