On the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller, # 39510, the instructions explain the process of leveling the sensor. After connecting the trailer and finding a level surface for both truck and trailer, you are ready to set the level. Turn power knob to max and depress and hold the truck's brake pedal. Rotate the level knob until LED turns from GREEN to RED. Then carefully rotate the level knob until the LED turns to a shade of orange.
If you have done this and still the light on your Voyager has not change from Green, then it sound like there may be an issue with the red wire that is connected to your vehicle's stop light switch. Check to make sure this wire is still connected to the switch. If the stop light wire has come loose, then the brake controller is not sensing that the brake pedal.
