Troubleshooting Brake Controller LED Lights On Tekonsha POD PowerTrac

I HAVE AN OLDER POD BRAKE CONTROLLER WITH BLACK WIRE BLUE WIRE AND RED AS WELL AS WHITE I HOOKED IT TO MY 09 FORD I HAVE NO LIGHTS ON THE CONTROLLER . TIL L I HOOK TO TRAILER . THIS CONTROLLER GOT WET . HOOKED TO TRAILER I HAVE GREEN LIGHT STEP ON BRAKE GREEN TO RED LIGHT THANKS . PS, I KNOW THE BLACK WIRE IS 12 VOLT FEED BLUS IS TRAILER BAKE AND RED IS COLD SIDE IF BRAK LIGHT SWITCK AND WHITE IS GOUND THANKS

On your Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller (POD) # 39523, the green light when connected is good and functioning correctly. The LED changing from Green to Red when you hit the brake pedal is functioning properly as well as it should be red when you apply the pedal.

If it is alternating from Green to Red, one of two issues and both have to do with the power adjustment setting on your brake controller. The light changing indicates your setting is either too high and needs to be turned down, or too low and needs to be turned up. Simply adjust the power dial on the front of the unit and the problem should be remedied.
