Recommended Axle For Salt Water Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 2002 galvenized trailer for my boat. It needs a lot of TLC due to salt water use , springs, seals, studs, axle. Where do I start?

Start with the axle. Are you looking for something galvanized? We have the CE Smith Trailer Axle w/ Idler Hubs - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 57-1/2" Long - 1,800 lbs # CE33201GA-HUB which is galvanized and has all the components you'd want for salt water use to stand up strong to the abuse the salt brings. If we have a system like this to meet your needs, it will come with the seals, studs, hubs, etc. If not we will piece it together and use the best corrosion resistant materials available to us for the specific parts.

To make sure we get you the right parts, I need you to measure the distance from hub face to hub face and also from the center of the spring to the center of the opposite spring. If you know the capacity you need that will be extremely important as well.
