What is Speed Rating of Trailer Tires in Size 4.80-8
Question:
4.8 x 8 motorcycle trailer tires. What do you have with a higher speed rating? Need something in the 75-80mph range. Total GVW would be less than 500lbs. 4 lug.

For smaller tire sizes like the 4.80-8 that you mentioned the highest speed rating we have is 65 mph like the part # AM10002. This is in part due to the smaller diameter of the tire which means it will be spinning more revolutions at the same speed as a larger tire. This increases heat build up.

I have Load Star 4.80x8 High Speed trailor tires on my 4x8 ft trailor.They have this number on them k3A3 to8. What is the safest speed can I drive them?
