Class III Trailer Hitch & Trailer Wiring Harness for 2013 Audi Q5
Question:
I have a 2013 Audi Q5 with a standard painted bumper without the hitch removal plate, What hitch do you recommend? I know there is Curt and hidden hitch? And which wiring harness will work well with the Audi Electronics?

Expert Reply:
The Curt # C13136 and the Draw-Tite # 75940 2-inch Class III hitches share identical weight capacities but their designs differ and this will affect the complexity of the installation process. The Draw-Tite hitch installs in place of the aluminum bumper and this hitch requires a more involved installation than the Curt. I linked the instructions and an install video for both hitches to help you decide with which one you feel more comfortable. If it were me, I would go with the Curt in this case.
For a 4-pole wiring harness you can use Curt part # C56190KIT.
